ROSLYN WAKARI is Dunedin’s largest football club with 450 players, comprising 9 men’s teams, 3 women’s teams and 24 junior teams. It is represented in all grades of the Dunedin competition, including men’s and women’s premier grades, and three teams in the Masters (over 35 years) men’s grade.
The club last won the men’s premier grade in 2003 and the women’s in 2010. National recognition for RWAFC players has included nine All Whites, with four club players in the original 1904 New Zealand team.
Ellis Park has four competition grounds. The clubrooms were refurbished in 2009 and it now boasts a first class bar and food facility, and gymnasium.
